The Brotherhood that is CSR.......

Ok - I'm going to show my ignorance....could you see the Big & Little Dipper's?
I've been told you see a different sky on that side of the world....

Pretty cool underwater pics...how or what did you shoot those with?

Thanks!

No dippers.... And the reef pic's were shot with a Cannon fitted in a waterproof container ( I rented it from the dive boat )

On our way out of Sydney, I diverted our trip to the Sea Ray dealer to take a quick look at the colors of the 1997 line of boats as I had a factory order pending on my tan/black 1997 250. My bro's didn't give me much time, but I got a quick look and finalized my order.

I have made several trips to Australia for a business I was involved with there. I looked forward to each trip. The country is beautiful and the people wonderful.

If you liked Australia then wait til you see New Zealand.

Any visitors from CSR always welcome here.

My parents spent 6 weeks in Aus and NZ. They absolutely loved NZ. I have yet to go. Looking forward to it some day.

What amazes me is you actually found Aussies in Australia. These people are such travelers you can't go anywhere eon earth and not find an Aussie sitting next to you! I sometimes have been given cause to wonder who keeps the light son back there?

Nice deal Mark. We also have been lucky enough to have been to Australia. Twice in our lifetime. Both times for business and some pleasure. We plan to go one more time for just pleasure. The people and the cities are delightful. Not to mention the great beer. VB, Coopers pale ale, and Tooies to name just a few. I urge all of our fellow members to try to include a trip there in your future plans. It is a trip of a lifetime.

Small world..I am sure the day you went on pittwater you stopped at a place called refuge bay..and guess what you might have pulled up a mooring next to me.

I was in a Riviera 37 with all the game poles and a load of people pulled up next to me in a Sea ray 36 SB. I am now sure this was you

The great thing about Aussies is that we aren't much different to you guys and there is no language barrier to contend with. Boating is all year round.

Pittwater is one of the best natural harbours you can come across. (Google Earth Pittwater, NSW, Australia.. you will see what I mean.

Ozzie

If any of you guys come down contact me ..happy to show you the delights..might even get you on a surfboard

Hi from Down Under,
I am completely new to power boating and only joined up a few days ago to ask some advice on my sea ray 250 under topic of 'New everything or reboot everything?'. I am still waiting for authorisation to join one of the big Australia boating forum to ask advice from local boaters, but I was amazed with the immediate and helpful response from the CSR site.
I'm situated in the beautiful middle harbour (seaforth) of sydney past the spit bridge and I know you all would have loved the NYE fireworks on the water. Hope to see some of you next year.
Steven

Ozzie, sorry for the delay.... Just read your post - yes we recall the Riviera that was there too. TOO SMALL OF A WORLD.... Can't wait to come down again, but I'm sure it will be a while, but if you come up here & we'll hook you up...

Yep..it doesn’t matter where you are in the world you are never more than 50 feet from a cockroach, a rat or an Aussie

now that sounds like a very jealous kiwi.....

Too bad, maybe they'd let you immigrate if brought a lot of money.......

That is an awesome story. Been to Australia years ago and found them to be wonderful people. Plus have good Auzzie friends here in the states too. Nice to see the world and boating come together.
