The Boating Life!

You should send that picture to Sea Ray living or MarineMax...

I did send it in to my local MarineMax, heard nothing back. I guess you need people on it all dressed up and all. Could not find any of the local working girls at the time.

Thanks for the insight on the inner harbor. $14 for 5 hours is cheap! I used to do a dock and dine with my friends boat on the Hudson River accross from NYC at Lincoln Harbor Marina and I think they charged either $1.50 or $2 a foot, and you were not in the middle of the action like you were in those pictures. That looks like a very nice day.

If you get there early you have a much better chance of getting a spot there on the wall. Of course being earlier in the morning you will probably miss the stabbings that occur when the punk gangs get up in the afternoon.

Great pictures Bill. BTW I know your PO. We shared a dock when he owned your boat. Always cleaning it...like me!

That’s good to know, and I do the very same thing. I could tell when we bought the boat it was kept in good condition, but it never hurts to hear it firsthand. Thanks

Last weekend we went to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore with our friends from La Dolce Vita, and again had a wonderful time.

So here is to “The Boating Life”!

Thanks for sharing!!! The pics look great. Man did I miss a wonderful day on the bay... Your story about the sail boat is too funny!! Thanks for sharing the course around Hart Miller I always wanted to try it as it looks like it cuts some distance off the trip down but it looks really narrow and a little shallow, but I am guessing if the tide is on your side its no big deal..

I guess if you can navigate out from Joppatowne to the railroad bridge you can make it through the cut!!

Take Care and hopefully will get to see you at the Crab Feast...:smt038

I have been through “the cut” numerous times without a problem, even at low tide. It is well marked, just make sure you stay in the marked part of the channel, you stray out and you are going to hit bottom. Weekends it is a 6 knot zone as well.

Yea we will be at the Crab Feast, so see you there. Hopefully it is not raining like this weekend.
