Who else will be attending Chip "the Boat Guy" Hanauer's Winter Rendezvous?

I'll be there with a couple other friends and their boats. It should be fun and if this 50 degree weather holds out it will be perfect. If any of you remember Chip Hanauer, he's our local Ulimited Hydroplane driver, who was champ for many years piloting Ms. Budweiser amongst other boats.

I'm ready for a boat ride and this should be fun.

I went out this last weekend. Some of you may recall Chip Hanauer? He's a local guy that was an unlimited Hydroplane driver in the 80s. Anyway he started a local boating site called "The Boat Guy". He planned an event in Poulsbo, WA this last weekend. This marina is normally empty this time of year. It ended up a cold beautiful Friday when I left. I brought my friends Shawn and Lisa. My Bride had a dance competition with my Daughter and my Ma watched my Son Luke and his sports events.

It's a small Norweigian town, so they invited the Vikings out, which is cool to me.

It began to snow Saturday night while we were at the event dinner. A first for me, boating in the snow.

Yeah, it's actually quite nice boating this time of year and the cold snap we just had are maybe 2-3 a winter. We rarely get snow; normally it's 43 degrees and overcast.
