That new guy from Connecticut

Wife and I have been looking for a while for an ~30 foot express cruiser, just made a deposit on a '97 300 Sundancer, hoping all goes well with the survey. Having looked at older 80's SRs, 90's Maxums, Larson Cabrios....we just felt SR's stood above the crowd, fit/finish/quality. The '97 we found was exceptionally cared for by the current owner, he did a bit of customizing in the cabin (he's a carpenter that does work on boats). Pair of 5.7's v-drives. I had a feeling it was going to be a good boat when the broker told us the owner insists "shoes off" before boarding during our showing.

Hopefully be in our hands July1. At which point, I'll be asking tons of questions here. Right now just pouring through old threads absorbing what I can.
