las tyear befor i bought this boat on the advise of many CSR members i had the dealer replace the entire exhaust system. (manafolds, elbows risers , and mufflers) so hear is the question. temp gauge reads 170-180 and always has.....but when i touch elbows or risers they are warm to the touch.....(i do not have a thermal gun to check) i would think that if they were truly 170 degrees i would not be able to touch them???? do i have a problem somewhere......boat is raw water cooled and i had raw water pumps also changed. any input would be welcome......stay safe this weekend

Get an IR thermometer. Anything over 135 degrees can produce 2nd and 3rd degree burns quickly.

edit: Edited for accuracy

170-180 would be the water temp inside the engine - the exhaust should only be warm to the touch
