Hilarious! Boat does look to be in good shape though and seems a good deal! :)

That was hilarious. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Dumb ba$tard should have known his wife would react that way.
I didn’t get to it before the ad was deleted but from what little I could tell it looked like a decent boat.
I bought my old 300 Sundancer from someone going through a divorce. She was selling it because he took up with the woman who lived down the street.
While her ad wasn’t quite like that, she sort of relayed a similar story over the phone when I called about the boat.
I went to see it with a friend and after checking it out I made a fair offer. She indicated that she didn’t have to run it past the soon to be ex because he had no say in it and wasn’t getting any of the proceeds.
I was a bit nervous about buying it because both had to sign the title, but she got it signed and it all went well in the end.
While she seemed a little bitter (understandably) she was otherwise pretty nice and fairly attractive. I remember saying to my friend while we were checking out the boat that I wondered what the husband’s new girlfriend looked like and that she must really be something.
Once we shook hands on the deal my friend, who was married at the time, seized the moment and was flirting with her. He didn’t mention that he was married. She was receptive and flirting back as much as he was.
Another dummy playing with fire.
They were in somewhat overlapping businesses so they exchanged business cards. She showed up at his office a few weeks later and he didn’t know whether to $hit or go blind because his wife had an office for her own business in his building.
Unfortunately for him, years later, another woman took him up on the flirting and his now ex wife got the house (across the street from mine) and half all his other stuff. We’re still friends with both of them and I never pass up the chance to break his chops about it.
In fact Kevin, you may have met my neighbor a few weeks ago at Tobay when she came down to meet us for dinner.
A couple of days later he borrowed an adapter from me and I busted his shoes a bit about how much we enjoyed watching the sunset over the water while having dinner and cocktails with his ex a few nights before.
