Teleflex "throttle only" button

Noticed that when I push in my throttle only button on my shifter I usually have to finagle the shifter forward and backwards and tap on it a bit to get it to engage. Is this button repairable? Or should I look into replacing the shift lever?


Boat is a '88 all original shifter. Anyone know a part number for reference?

Might just be gunked up. Shoot some WD-40 or the like in it and see if that helps.
