Teakflooring an old Sea Ray 350 SD 1991

Very nice job! With the cost of new boats going through the roof I am totally fine with keeping an older one and updating it! Think what a brand new 36 costs these days...

That's a beautiful job. How many times did you want to jump overboard trying to figure out the angles and what about the little pieces? You shoud be very proud of your work, I would like to see that in person.
Congratulations!!

What a great looking piece of craftsmanship!.

Previous onwer of my boat also installed teak in the cabin. Looks beautiful, but is installed "over" the existing carpet. Not sure what the long term implications of that may be. Looks and feels solid though.

since we have a large dog, I would be worried about the cockpit though. We put throw rugs down on the cabin floor when she is aboard to keep her from scrathing the teak.

Beautiful. I'm being pragmatic here for selfish reasons. I would like to do something similar on Saint Max. Teak is a very heavy and dense wood. How did it effect the running attitude and MPG performance of the boat.

Thanks again everyone for your nice words!
The weight for the new teak did not do anything to running attitude or performance for Dalton, but when I put my new swimplatform on it made some diffrence
the platform was quite heavy
