Have never liked the loncoin steps for the cabin. Almost impossible to clean and the third tread is starting to turn pink for some reason. Ordered these from a site advertiser here, Global Shipwrights. I think these will make an excellent upgrade over “the plastic look”. Should i put a few dabs of silicone on the stair plates before i bolt them down or just bolt them down like the old ones?

Wow, That’s beautiful. Can I ask how much? (Ball park per step). We just upgraded again and never liked the plastic steps on current & previous SR’s. Is that a white lab behind the stairs? We have a Yellow Lab - Best dog ever.

All the Best,
Pat

Another Question...Do you like the 6.2L Bravo III? We had 5.7L V drives on our 320 and was way under powered. Then 8.1L Vdrives on 340 they were awesome. We purchased the 2008 330SD with 6.2 Bravo III in January (no water test) So I’m really hoping the 6.2’s BIII with do the job.

Thanks

“Howie” is a beagle pekingese mix. Hates the water, loves boating tho.
He goes everywhere with us.
I paid 750 shipped for all four. The build quality is fantastic. I want to go slice the shrinkwrap now and install them :)

I like them being in freshwater. Little more maintenance but worth it. I cruise 30mph at 3,600 rpm no matter how loaded down we are. Have a friend with the same boat with the 5.7/vdrive combo and i feel it is underpowered as well. Have to run at 4k and has a hard time keeping the bow down. Plus its a fuel pig at that rpm.

I know this is not exactly on point, but may be interesting for an idea for others. On my last boat (A 25ft Campion Victoria pocket cruiser) I had carpeted steps and a carpeted floor that was not perfectly flat at all. Being a very small floor area, I decided to make a removable insert to cover the carpet using oak hardwood flooring, epoxied together and held flat with aluminum strips on the back side. Back side of the wood was epoxy coated. It fit snugly and with the carpeted sides of the cabin floor, did not move at all. I made up step covers from 3/4 oak strips, and epoxy coated them. I cheated and installed the steps by simply screwing to the carpeted steps from underneath. Ended up looking pretty good actually.

Havent had a chance to install yet, still under wrap. The old steps just bolt through the bottom, these will attach the same way. I will post an after pic when i get them done

I have a 2004 and watch looking to upgrade the steps, those are amazing. I have the 6.2 MPI outdrives and

love them..I will go to global shipwrights and order a set...

I've been searching for the vendor on this site that advertises these but can't find them. Where did you get the stairs? Are we able to link?

Really nice! I’m also looking to do the same but to the floor.
