I need a favor from someone with a Thunderbolt V ignition system.....when you disconnect the distributor ignition sensor wires (red/white and green/white) from the wiring harness at the bullet connectors and use an ohm meter to check the resistance/continuity between these two wires what kind of ohm reading do you see?.......I am going through the TBV troubleshooting tree and I am running into a problem with testing the ignition sensor.....when i tested the sensor that was installed I did not get any ohm reading at all.....not only did I not get an ohm reading I did not even show any continuity in the sensor at all.....the Mercruiser manual says there should be at least 100 ohms when testing the two leads from the ignition sensor and the sensor should be replaced if the ohm reading is less than 100 ohms...when I did not get any reading at all I assumed the sensor had open windings and that was my problem.....I bought a new sensor and installed it.....when I test the leads from the new sensor I still do not get any readings at all....I have double checked my meter and it is working fine.....

Can someone check the ohm reading on your functional TBV system and tell me if you are seeing any kind of ohm reading from the ignition sensor leads?

Thanks......
