I searched the existing posts with no luck, so...

I am installing a Garmin GHP 10 autopilot on my 2000 340 Sundancer with 7.4L MPIs. The only thing left to do is the tachometer connection. The tachs have 3 posts on the back: GND, SEND, and NMEA. A few questions:
- Am I correct in assuming I'll attach the A/P leads to the SEND and GND posts
- Anyone know what the pulses per rev would be for my motors?
- Any tips on getting a clean tach signal for the Garmin autopilot?
- What is the NMEA post for? I'm pretty sure my engines aren't SmartCraft-enabled, but there are wires connected to those posts.

Thanks for any help!
