After looking around I have come to realize I have no system monitor. I think it should have been located where the Flo-Scan is currently mounted, on the LH side of the helm next to the gear levers. The wiring is in run in the fuse box and appears there would be a ribbon cable that would plug into the side. Is this something I should look to install, or is it not worth the headache of finding somewhere to mount it?

Although the system monitor ties into other "stuff", the main thing for me is to monitor bilge pump activity. If you have a 3rd party bilge pump alarm system, I wouldn't worry about it....

My 2 cents.

Besides, I understand they are no longer available from Sea Ray so the only hope of finding one is the secondary market.........too old for Flounder Pounder or used. Someone posted something a year or so ago about a company in Fla that was rebuilding them, but if you don't have one now, you are still stuck in the used market.

I was messing with the bilge pump system today, very screwy! I currently(as far as I know) do not have any type of alarms, or operation lights. As a secondary question, and I may put this up elsewhere, it seems the bilge pump controls are weird. From what I can gather, seems as if power goes to pump, then is fed to switch which then grounds through the bulb next to the switch. This makes me wonder, If I have a burnt bulb would the pump not work? I gave up once I found a problem, just wondering if you guys have ever dealt with this? I know your boats are newer and different, just wondered if this is normal?

FWIW my 24 hour bilge pump has an amber indicator lamp that is always on (now switched to LED) and my manual pump has a red lamp that illuminates when it is on. No idea how they are wired though other than the 24 hour pump has power whether the battery switch is on or off, and power to the manual pump runs through the battery switch.
