My engine sync gauge stopped working and I want to buy another gauge and have lost track of how it was wired. Can anyone tell me what wires and colors go to on the gauge?

This is all I have for a wire schematic for my motors and gauges that came with the boat.

How sure are you that it is the guage? Most times it is the sync module and the not the sync guage that fails. It's the black hockey puck looking thingy that will be mounted up under the dash.

I don't know of any definitive way to test the module.

You may want to try first just confirming that all the wires going to the module and to the tachs are tight and making a good connection. Then, under that red cap is an adjustment screw. You can play with that to see if it helps.

I will check the connections. I also took a couple of the wires off the sync gauge last season and just wanted to make sure I had the correct wires to the gauge. So if anyone can confirm at least the colors that are suppose to go to the gauge and to what post.
