Switch Panel going haywire!

Wow I thought it was $1325 that's crazy man @ $1325 I was going to order one kit now I got a think about it seems pretty high that's in US dollars too im in Canada so add the exchange rate that's insane for me dammit why you got to be so damn expensive

I ordered the port side switch panel as mine went out at the end of the season last year. I bought it from a dealer in the states for $338USD and had it shipped up to Canada. Local dealer wanted close to $1000CDN for it. I plugged it in yesterday to see if it works but I think my batteries are dead from storage over the winter. I am going to plug the power cable into the boat to try and charge up the batts and fingers crossed it works. As a side note when I turned on the battery switches the starboard site pad lit up with all leds, nothing functioning though. (hoping this is due to low power and not something else)

The new switch pad came in black but you can transfer over the woodgrain plastics from the old one.

Yeah thats a bit far from me. I would have lent you the new one I just bought to try as well. I don't have it mounted yet in the boat, just plugged into the harness. Please when you do the "switch" over let me know how you did it. I was basically screwed at the end of last season not being able to open the engine hatch when it came time to winterize. I found I had to press one finger in the middle of the pad to be able to activate the engine hatch button. Then kill the battery power to get it to stop. lol

gauges are the same deal. They are sealed units which I cannot located any. Starboard has a bad oil pressure gauge and the port has a bad fuel gauge. No replacements for a 2003 320 to be found anywhere. Bought the Vessel View mobile to get the info to a tablet

Just a follow up, the replacement port side key pad I bought indeed works and fixed my issue. I was worried as I read that sometimes the keypad will not work with certain EIMs. On my boat was not an issue. Also when your boat has low 12 volt power, all led lights come on and stay on, and no switches will work. I plugged the boat in with shore power and allowed charger to do its thing, turned on the stbd batt switch and the leds lit up and then went off. Normal bootup pattern.

nice! I wonder if your dealer can still get for 338? gguy on ebay want 442us. I would probaly give it a try for 338$ what dealer was it mabey i can call.

It was a few months back but I do believe I ordered it from here: Searay Cincinnati

Call the parts department with your part number and the guy will look it up. Also your going to want to see if he would ship it to you, or a pickup in Detroit since you are in Windsor. Good luck!

OK thanks! Found them at a dealer in michigan 340us even better! you gave me the confidence that they should work with my current EIM's (As far as revision level) if yours is working. I'm going to pull the trigger and get both pads (STB and Port) before I go through the headache of hard wiring everything. If this works at least I can concentrate on getting everything else up to par on the boat and not have to worry about these switches for a while and work on the hard wire system at my own leisure. While just enjoying the boat. HAHA!

Not to Hijack this thread, but having similar issues. On the port panel, my bilge blowers will only work from the generator panel below. I cannot turn them on from the helm. On the starboard panel, my windlass stopped working. When I first started the boat, the windlass light was on, which was odd. I tested the windlass and it operated. Later in the day, as I was contemplating anchoring for a while, I pressed the windlass switch, and it did not light up. I am hoping it is only the panel, but what else could it be? The breaker in the EIM by the helm for the windlass was OK.

When mine started acting up, one day they would work and next not work. or go crazy like having things stuck on. I replaced them pads and they works great now for few weeks. So far no issues. So while doing this I noticed the plastic on the back of pads were starting to crack water/moisture probably leaking in. I would recommend pulling the pad off with the nuts on the pack side and check the backs out. if you see any cracks you know you can be more confident that a new pad will fix the problem.
