After debating what to do with the boat, we decided to enjoy it for at least another year and get a swim platform to make it more kid friendly on the water. The '91-95 280/300 Weekenders (and Sundancers) have a small integral platform that's pretty high up. Also, it leaves your feet dangling out over the sterndrives.

Ordered a platform from Swimplatforms.com about a month ago. It's being installed at the boat yard. Can't wait to see it!

I've been considering doing the same for our 340. Keep us posted, and pictures are a must.

Jeff,

Thanks. I had actually followed that thread, but the web site doesn't list a platform for an '05 340. The molded one is a good size, but it's awefully high up off the water.

I would like to see a 340 with a bolt on platform. That is one thing that pushed us to the 320 - is we liked the big platform - while not the latest design...

The 340 would be sweet with a bolt on platform.
