Good morning folks. I was wondering if your 320 has trim along bottom edge of swim platform? Was that a factory option or aftermarket solution? I have none on mine and I am trying to put one in place.
It seems rub rail would be an option but I cant seem to find a source that sells by the foot, only large lengths. usually 40' or more.
Anyway, whats on your craft and a pic would be great.

I have no trim. I think it's probably aftermarket.

Thanks Mike, its kind of a severe edge not to be covered dont u think
Yes. If you find something that works please post. I'd like to do mine.

I did see that and asked someone on Marinepartssource and he kind of poo pooed it. saying it would never stay on, but i think with adhesive maybe and the screws or just screws it could hold up.

As mentioned, yes, it depends on the year and model of Sea Ray whether it was used from the factory, or not... possibly even which plant the boat came out of.

BUT... your 2006 would have had that edging as standard - at least according to your parts manual. The part number listed above is the right stuff, although that has now been discontinued and the new one is 1952362. Could just be a vendor change.

Poo Poo to whoever said poo poo on that stuff! :) Get it and use it - it protects the platform edge from cracking and your hands!

A little bit of 3M4200 squeezed into the channel of the vinyl piece before slipping it on will do the job. Add the screws if you want (yes, from behind) - or just tape it in place till it dries. If you not in the water, yet, a better way is to just leverage sticks from the ground to the platform edge while it dries.

Taco makes this one, this was what i was going to get.

Im thinking you screw from behind and pass through platform to grab outer layer of the trim??
Adhesive, any thoughts?
Just short screws to grab fiberglass. Nothing really stick to that vinyl on the long run and you may want to be able to repair it when you the swim platform

Thanks, I am still on the hard for a while, I can prop it and let it dry. There aren't any signs of an old trim being on the boat, like holes or adhesive traces so Im thinking if it was on the boat i was just pressed in place and may have gone adrift?
Im going to glue and screw

It is pita to put it over the edge of the platform 1without damaging top edge of the molding. Preferably preheat small sections to soften the vinyl. Once softer, bend vinyl 90 degrees or more and that will allow for u-shaped gap to open wider and to be slipped over fiberglass. Work in short sections and dont overhead vinyl or it could change color.

Wow this sounds like tough stuff, i thought it was flexable

I had the edge trim on my 97 400DA. Not so on the 2001 510DA. Seems like something Taylor Made would carry

While my boat is only a 270 - I took a pic since it’s in my driveway. I tried to get dimensions and pics of the screws holing it in from the back as mentioned already - probably not far off to what was on the 320. You will need to verify.

Well thanks for all the input including the pics. That is wider than the stuff from Taco.

Just did mine today.
Order from flounder pounder that's the right one.
Put the new trim out in the sun for a few hours before installing.
Get a nice dead blow hammer and a heat gun.
I hit with dead blow until seated and installed screws as I went along the platform.
I did pre drill a pilot hole. (be careful and drill slow you only want to drill through the back lip of trim and platform fiberglass )
Only heat the back lip if needed to get on.
Use #6x1/2 Stainless screws.
I screwed about 10 inches apart.
I coated the screws with 3M 4200 sealant .
My original trim was held on with adhesive.
I tried last year to install with just adhesive it did not work.
