So my swim platform on my 580 will not budge and the marina is trying to locate a wiring diagram and the make and model which they have not been successful with does anyone know perhaps any info on the standard swim platform for a 2010 580?

Look on the hydraulic pump - should have a label.

If it is GHC, make sure someone notes what the color code is for the pump. They denote different pumps by color like the Green or Blue which have different lift ratings.

There was some guru hydraulic swim platform guy on here a while back…. Worth a look he was very helpful

When you say it won't budge, do you mean the pump comes on but the platform doesn't move, or does the pump not come on? Have you tried moving it by hand?

The pump is protected by a circuit breaker located nearby on the pump. No need for a wiring diagram if you have power to that breaker. If you don't, then follow the heavy red wire backwards to the batteries.

If you do have power on both sides of the breaker then it is the pump or the pump switch that is not working. Pump remote switch wiring is usually three wires: power/up/down. If your remote switch is wireless.....that requires a few more diagnostics.

If the pump is working and the platform is not moving.....you may have platform locks that are jammed.

Thanks for your help. The marina replaced the circuit board because it kept blowing the fuses. They also replaced some valves on the hydraulics and got it working. But the next day it stopped working. Motor whines but no movement. They think changing the oil is needed. I'll update here with the results.

I hope that works but unless the oil is low.....I'm not sure that is the problem. Did they put a pressure gauge on the system? If so.....what did it read?

We only discovered it late Friday and Saturday was a rainout. I will mention it to them tomorrow morning thanks
