Does anyone know of someone who can do a survey on a 340. I'm in the Seabrook, Tx area.

I have used Roy Newberry in the past and he and his crew are ace's on hull survey's. They are not likley to do the engine survey, but he can recommend someone.

Roy and his dad have been surveying boats in Seabrook for 40 years or more ... they know boats and boaters.

You can trust this guy. He also does deliveries if you need that.

Good start, but still try to get local recommendations. I took a BoatUS and on this site recommended surveyor in the Savannah.GA area and the company was a complete dud. They must have done a drive-by survey from some of the things they wrote in that survey, i.e. that my 340 has polyethylene tanks and they did not record the engine and genny hours on the survey. It was cheap, but that is what I got. A huge lesson for me.
