surprised by dolphins

Might be the habitat. Went out today in Sarasota....from Blackburn Bridge to Venice Jetties, outside in the Gulf past Casey and Siesta to New Pass and back in the ICW to Blackburn Bridge we had 4 dolphin encounters. No jumping, but just a few feet from us.

Success! Wish we were still there. No dolphins playing in the snow in Kansas City..

I just finished my 5th captain and coke,......I think I see dolphins....

One good area I've found by that area..the pass 'tween Lido and Siesta...the way the sand bars sweep out there.
On a map, look for Avenida Messina up in North Siesta...go straight west of where that road points...where the sand bar starts dropping off. Down to where the channel exits. Great spots for seeing 'em..my daughter had a blast there.
