Surfside3 Manhattan

We spent a night there when we first got our 300DA, it was part of the deal. I have to tell you that the marina is not protected from the river traffic. The river is active all day and night with very large commercial and private boats that leave very large wakes. We spent a sleepless night bouncing around. Bring plenty of oversized fenders. The facility is first rate though, and you're just a cab ride from everything Manhattan offers. The views are astounding. It is worth going for sure.
 
Thanks JG - actually planning on overnighting at Liberty Landing on the Jersey side - totally protected. Just looking for an easy place to discharge and pick up passengers in Manhattan even if I have to pay a few $ because 79th st Boat Basin was a rough go last time. Sounds like it is a reasonable enough place for that but I'm open to other ideas.

Liberty landing is awesome. There is a water taxi that runs between manhattan and liberty for all ur people fewrrying needs...
