Sunshine in TN this weekend

We had great weather yesterday. My bride and I were out to check on the boat and decided to take her out for a morning cruise.

This was the first time we have taken her out by ourselves without the girls. Admiral was a little nervous at first, but ended up enjoying the outing and even driving the boat back to the marina. Baby steps to getting her comfortable in case of an emergency.

I wish we could have headed out as well. Went last weekend and it was pretty dreary. Glad you had a good time.

Do you keep your boats in all winter?Just curious ,i wouldnt mind living down there.Florida is to far south for me though,and my mom lives in centerville tn when not motorhoming around the country.But i would rather be on the tn river system i think.

Yes we stay in all year. Old Hickory lake has access to the TN river or anywhere else for that matter. We keep a bilge heater and the cabin heat on so all stays toasty. I love getting out when it is below freezing out. Just have to run the cabin heat and all is well.

Same for us in Chattanooga. Had a great run on Friday - beautiful sunny 54° day. Water temp 51.8° - no swimming!
