sundancer 240

I had an '06 240 5.7 mag / B3.
I boat in the ocean in the pacific NW so there's currents and changing wind directions to deal with. I have to say the constant tab adjustments are annoying. It's a combination of beam, deadrise angle and height that causes this. There is a knack to it and once you're used to the drive trim and tabs, your passengers won't notice anything. It is annoying for the captain though. The fella that bought mine is unhappy with it because of this issue and is going to resell it. He can't get a feel for it... or doesn't want to.
I'm not saying don't buy one. They are a beautiful looking boat and have lots of great features and I really liked mine but I won't buy another. Be prepared to cruise around in the leaning tower of Pisa. haha
Sorry if this offends anyone.
Go for a spin in a 240 or a 260 (same problem in the 260) and then a 280... they're 2 different worlds.
