Last year I had my bimini top and camper back on maybe twice in the rain.

Is it necessary to clean and retreat with 303 if there wasn't much exposure?

The mooring cover was on often, so I will definitely be cleaning and reapplying 303, but I wasn't sure about the other two pieces.

I guess I don't know for sure, but I like to treat it for the sun exposure as well as the rain. However, it sounds like yours didn't see much of either, so I probably wouldn't worry about it.

Did you wash the canvas much? Are you in a covered slip? I am sure you can skip a year if not washed or exposed in the sun much.

303 is cheap insurance. Buy a bottle and put it on..what can you lose?

Yeah, that's true. I was just making a 'To Do List' and was wondering if it was necessary or not.

The bimini itself didn't get washed once last year. The bimini was up when I used the boat, but it wasn't exposed to rain.

I was told by a Sunbrella rep once to use 303 in the spring. Just a once a yr treatment was plenty.

I have notice on my car which is a convertible the treatment last a year exposed to elements. The car is kept in a garage, except at work.
