Put the boat in on May 12th, been waiting for summer since. Cool temp, rain, wind, rain, and lots more rain, and rain in the forecast. The woods and bugs seem to like it though. Lake water temps still upper 30's to mid 40's, there'll be no stops in the middle of the lake to jump in a hot spot this summer.

Our summer lasted two weeks. We have a decent forecast for the weekend but the water temp has dropped 10 degrees in the last week. Can you say shrinkage?!

We've had some nice weekends already... mid 80's, water temperature ~78... very nice!

weather has sucked for us all of June. Irondequoit bay is 75* at least, but the lake is still cold. Lots of rain and high water still killing the season. I'm guessing it's going to be a good year to buy a boat as most people are very frustrated, problem for us is that's a double edged sword since we'd have to sell ours..

Either way we've spent 30+ nights on board already. The way I look at it a rainy day on the boat is still better than being at home.

Well for the most part our weekends have been nice but with all the rain during the week the currents are strong and there is debris all through the river so even though last weekend was beautiful not many boats went out. Ours sat at the dock all weekend. Forecast is for thunderstorms all day today until early tomorrow morning. Hopefully the river is cleared up for Sunday.
