I'm too tired to do a full narrative... but here are the pics of our cruise which started from Rock Hall, went through BIH '09 on our way to Annapolis (via Cantler's on Mill Creek). From there we went to Solomons (love that Tiki Bar!) and then to Cambridge to re-connect with old and new friends from CSR. We were there for two days and then went back to Rock Hall. Only to load up the boat the next day to go back to Cantler's for my brother's birthday.

Then we watched the Rock Hall fireworks, which were halted just before the finale because there were seven (count 'em seven) different brush fires started by the fireworks. Then on Saturday we went up to Stillpond to scope the situation for the raft-up there. Sunday we returned to Rock Hall and now I'm in Dallas, TX for a training meeting.

Damn work ruins all the fun!

Great shots Tim. I saw the little dog on the bow. With no PFD, is his name "Crab Bait"

I could only hope....

Actually, we are figuring out what Ginger's limits are in terms of nautical mobility. She surprised us with her willingness to charge up to the bow unattended. We usually have the PFD on her when outside and underway or when in the dinghy.

Or just charge up to some Great Dames that are just waiting for lunch!

Great pics! I love boating with the kids. I hope we make memories they will remember when they grow up and have a family of their own.

Nice pictures Tim. I saw couple of bikes tied to the rail, did you carry them this way or were they there only while the boat was docked?

Wow. Great documentation of an obviously Large Time had by all.

there are some shots in there that should make you a Pro Photographer. Nice!

The bikes were there when we were underway. I used a chafe guard, the white canvas kind intended for dock lines, to protect the stainless from scratches. The bikes were simply bungeed into place. I didn't see them move once.

It's not the most aesthetically pleasing approach (cue "Sanford and Son" theme song), but it works!

I think it's pretty good idea. The looks aren't best but considering that you'll have constant use of bikes for the crew justifies it. As I do more trips I'll be exploring similar idea to carry my bikes.

Tim,

It works now. Great photos, thanks for sharing.
