KC, you've GOT to lose the date stamp! No Pulitzer was ever awarded to a photowith the date emblazoned in orange!

Besides that, nice pictures!

Thanks. I wasn't thinking about the Pulitzer when i took these though. I agree the dates are distracting, but i do like having them on on there when I sit at the computer in the winter looking at them when the snow is flying!!

Thats the great thing about digital. the time and date are recorded as part of the file data...so you can still have the info without it plastered all over your photo

Wolf River Resort and Marina. That is where we keep our boats, out on F dock. A very nice lake. Water temps were 90-92 on the surface and 88 10 feet down week or so ago. Dropped a bit now.

Thanks for the pictures.

Nice pictures Pietro. The waters there are beautiful (as are the women:thumbsup: )

Maybe it's time for a trip to Italy to visit my ancestors.

Great pics, Pietro. The margarita machine has been a huge it all summer with us, too. We've gone through as much Patron as we have gasoline!

Those are some awesome pics! Keep them coming. Here is a few stills from some video my son Chris took yesterday from the dinghy......bottom paint coming next season...ha ha. (How about that antenna Gary?).

That's funny...I also put the antennas straight thinking of Gary!!! I could not do differently and they look cool :grin:

That is a really fantastic shot!!!! ......... Ok, Pietro, that's it!!!!!! We are all coming over there and taking your boat away from you!!!!
We are also going to seize the margarita blender!!! You are just having too much fun and killing us with those pictures.
How can you possibly go back to work after spending two weeks in those islands? Of course, nobody will object if you post some more.

Jerry, thank you for the comments!! And, yes, you Sea Ray fellows are invited to join me!!! I live in Rome, so, beside the boat, there's more than one reason to come over!!!
Back to work??? That's a challenge also because we are experiencing hard times...the crisis is still here and I do not see any changing in the next future. Thanks God I can still enjoy my SR and I have to say that some good time on the boat really helped me through.

FYI: The pic was taken from my dinghy with my new waterproof Lumix! I love it! …more to come as I will find some time to edit them.

Perfect day, south winds, high 90's, and cool water.......

On Sunday, September 12th, we headed to Guntersville for lunch.. 28 miles or so from our dock. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of sail boats and a couple of barges.

We got to Guntersville and the millfoil is horrible. Sure enough the port engine started smoking and overheating. Shut it down and limped over to Alred and left the boat. Bill was going to Las Vegas for a few days, so we just let them fix it instead of having it towed home.
Took them a couple of weeks to fix it...replaced both impellers. The mechanic did not think it was due to sucking in millfoil. Who knows? Anyway it is fixed now, Bill brought it home on Friday and it ran fine. We took a 3 hour or so cruise (including breakfast at South Sauty) and so far so good.

Luckily we don't have to worry about running aground on the way (for the most part)
