I'm approved through Hanscom Fed CU but they won't do a very long term. I think if I remember correctly it's 5-6 years.
i plan on paying it off quick but like as low a payment as possible.
any suggestions around the greater Boston are appreciated.
thanks guys.

I used Trident Funding Corp, closest office is in CT but we did everything by phone, email and UPS. Excellent service, extremely happy with the whole process.

Sterling Associates is in central MA, never dealt with them as a buyer but the guy who bought my old boat used than and liked them. As a seller my only complaint was they sent a check to me when I requested a wire, didn't really matter to me but the buyer almost missed his pickup date because we lost a day waiting for the check to clear.

i went through lightstream. they are a division of suntrust. no colateral loans so you get title in hand. i applied online and the next day the funds were in my account. the payment is taken from my checking the 1st of each month. very simple process. they target those with higher credit scores and are considered lower risk, hence the no colateral

I just completed a mortgage process with Chase. It was a lengthy and miserable experience. It feels good to type this in hopes that it might cost them just 1 potential customer. Maybe they're better with boat loans, but I'm still a little angry!
