Has anyone added any kind of lining material to storage areas such as under the seats or in the Lazarette? My under seating storage on my 240SD was lined with what looked like carpet. I guess that's what I am thinking would be good for the Lazarete as well. I have no idea where to get material like that or how hard it would be to fit it.

Specifically I would like to line just the vertical surfaces in my Lazarette. My fenders look terrible after being in the Lazarette. The flat white finish that Sea Ray puts in there keeps on marking up the fenders. Right now I keep the fenders wrapped so they don't get marked but I would permanently like to finish off the interior walls of the Lazarette.

Any suggestions anyone has would be appreciated.

You want a inner locking rubber matting? Seen some at West Marine and you can also get some of the same kind of stuff at Lowe's.

Marine or indoor outdoor carpet can be had at any carpet outlet store. You might even be able to find remnants on the cheap. But once you glue down carpet it will be a bear to pull off later on.

Carpet? How about a couple of coats of epoxy paint instead? It'd be smooth and wouldn't mildew like carpet would.

Lazarette??? had to look that one up. Why do you have a hospital treating contagious disease? ....oh, definition #3)Store room in the hull of a ship.

How would that roll on bedliner material work in this area. One of the brand is Herculiner and is available in several colors. Comes in quarts and qallons depending on the size.

If we're talking about the transom locker, I put down that interlocking rubber mat. Dirt and water drain through it, and the stuff on it stays pretty clean. It also cushions hard stuff like a spare anchor back there.
