I finally launched my boat this week, kinda in a rush as I have been busy and didn't have a bunch of time to check all my systems. When I turned on the stereo, radar and vhf, no power. luckily I had power to my Garmin GPS and depth finder as I was heading from the Cape up to Boston. I was close enough to shore to have cell service so I was OK not having the VHF for the trip.
When I got to the dock, I hooked up to shore power, flipped the switches to on, and nothing. I checked my connections and I am getting power up to my splitter coming into the boat.
I haven't had time to go through it yet, but any ideas where I should start?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Are the stereo radar and vhf on the same breaker?

Sounds like two issues, no AC when plugged in and no DC at the helm. Check to see if you have a GFI tripped in the galley or head for the AC. If you have a generator make sure your switches are set for shore power and if that doesnt work Id run the genney and see if I had power.
Good luck, crappy way to start a weekend.

I believe they are, and now I have no front bilge either, so I think this is part of the "Main Cabin" breaker in the engine room, but it is not tripped, as far as I can tell. I assume that it pops out when tripped, but it is in the same position as the others.

While I see this issue is about a month old for whatever it is worth I just experienced a similar scenario. Fortunately I have a great marine tech (Taylor Marine Techs, Fort Lauderdale FL) who determined the problem was a faulty harness on top of the starboard Mercruiser. Apparently corrosion and age caused the contacts in the harness connector to be "touchy". Plan is to replace the connector. Fixing is easy. Diagnostics much more difficult.
