I can usually lash to the forward deck of the Sundancer and lash to the front rails to keep it from flying up, but it's a pain to retrieve from there- anybody else have any thoughts of a more convenient way?

Put it atop the bimini?

We have two tubes and I put them on the swimstep and run a rope from the transom eyebolt, through all four handles on both tubes and then tie it off on the other transom eye bolt. When we arrive, I undo one side and toss them off the swim step. You can see over them and they are out of the way. You just have to make sure it doesn't block the blower.

I guess it depends on the tube, because we tied our round, 5' diameter "Ninja Blaster" standing on edge (leaning against the transom) on the swim platform with no problems.

Our one person tubes get tied to the swim platform. But we have a three person tube that will only fit on the foredeck so that's where we put that one.

I just bought an electric inflator, makes inflating the tubes quick and easy. Then when done just deflate and fold up. I just got sick of the tube always being in the way. The would probably not apply to the big "six person" tubes, but for the 1-3 persons it works well for us.

Same here, we got one of those rechargeable inflators and it works great. Can either recharge AC or DC... Haven't tried inflating two - single person tubes yet, but get the impression it would work fine.

i deflate mine and stow it under the aft bench seat. I have an electric rechargable air pump and it takes about 4 minutes to inflate it when i need it. Much less hassle than trying to secure it so it doesnt blow off the boat!
