Storage under couch on '03 300 DA ?

I've got a 2003 300 Sundancer. Does anyone know if there is storage under the couch that slides out? I can slide out the couch about 6-9 inches but can't figure out how to get under there and it seems like there would be a lot of space under there.

Do you mean the crescent shaped couch or the one in the aft compartment? There should be 2 carpeted doors that flip down under the crescent shaped couch and a "super secret" storage space in the aft compartment.

There is a ton of space... later model had access if i rcall... SOme people cut out doors to the left and right of center.... Im sure someone reading this has done it

So I think that answers part of my question, or maybe all of it. There is a ton of space under there and it sounds like without cutting holes there is no way to access it, right? Did you cut those holes below there? Anything I need to be aware of if I go do that myself or have someone do it?

Jason, It's that way from the factory. Looking at the 2003 300DA on line, and in the part manual it shows it on your 300DA too??? Brian

I have those same access doors on my 2002.

Hmm. I'll have to go back and look this week, hopefully they are there and this is a case of me just missing them somehow. I'll post back what I find. Thanks everyone!

PS - I did find that 'secret' storage behind the side cushion in the mid-berth area but just by chance ...

Well, either a previous owner did it or it came with them - but I can tell you that those storage compartments are there. They are very easy to miss, in fact unless you happened to try them you would never know it's a door (two of them). I'm thrilled to have found yet another storage compartment on the 300!
