Suggestions were made to see who is interested in a Still Pond Raft Up......anyone interested? Someone suggested July 22 but that's the CSR raft up at BIH. How about something in June?

We're in... June sounds good.
Anybody care if we bring "non Sea Ray" boaters with us?

The first two weekends in June are good and also, late May would be a possibility.

I'm in for the first weekend in June...............I already have boating plans for the second week in June.

P.S.......we always do a raft off Memorial Day weekend @ Fairlee Creek if anybody is interested (mostly Sea Rays attend)

John

John.
We will try to make it. My "shy" wife is freaking out at meeting all these new people. "I don't know anyone" is all I hear when I tell her about another trip! I just tell her to take a deep breath and relax, after all, we are all Searay'ers!!! :smt043 How bad can everyone be??

Frank,

That's great..............sounds like our brides have something in common, maybe they can hang out together!!!

John

I live with the Jersey model......same here....

How about we plan for the first weekend in June? For what it's worth, we don't know any of you yet except through the forum, so pass that along to the other brides/admirals ;)

Fairlee Creek sounds good too!

So we are in for June 2nd? That works for me. I will also be bringing the PA version of shy wife. When I mention these things to her the first question I get is "who will I know there?" She also said that 5 years ago when we first started boating on the bay. Now she keeps in touch with all the people she "didn't know" all year long.

June 2 looks good for us..Maybe we should put all the wives on one boat......add a few bottles of wine or other liquid consumable (water, soft drink, hard drink for that matter) and you will have a foundation for a collection of life long friends..... :smt101

Still Pond

Hey All,

Sounds like a great time, I will definitely put it on the calendar and see if the Admiral is up for it. We love getting together and meeting new people. Just hope you all do not mind a few Rednecks there.

Craig

It's on the calendar -- in ink -- but there's always the possibility that we may get cancelled (kids :smt021 ).

I think it'll take us about 2 hours to get there, so we'll be staying overnight but leaving late morning to get back in time for a soccer game.

Jeff

You know our shy and apprehensive brides really do have a lot in common with each other. Lest we forget the obvious, they are all married us guys that have become obsessed with things that float. This alone should be enough to get conversation started.

“Yes, and I think he also completely memorized at least two cruising guidesâ€

Okay...June 2 it is! It sounds as if all of us Admirals are in the same boat....no pun intended....none of us know each other so it will be a great start! Perhaps everyone should plan to bring a dish to share and we'll have hors d'oevres and docktails?

We'll be there...how many people will have children along? We will have a boy 10yrs (Tyler) and a girl 7yrs (Kelsey) They always ask "will other kids be there?" when we plan to meet up with "new" people.
