Jim..............do you expect to have a fix for this soon? It seems many times I just can't access the site. My Browser just sits and waits and waits. :smt017

Happens to me, too. Just get a blank page -- no border, background, nothing.

I'll refresh a couple of times with the same result, give up, come back later and it'll load just fine.

same thing for me. It's random. Sometimes I'll click on a thread to read and it will never show up I'll have to come back later to read it.

Me too, I know Jim must have got his hands full. I bet he was told no problem just copy it to the new server and it will be running.

You got that right. Then I tracked down a guy in Australia to help me get it set up. Been paying him to help figure it out. Last night i bought a copy of Vbulletin, might just move the whole shabang to vbulletin, at least that way there are always tech support people available to pay to figure it out. Although the site stopping sounds like a server issue. I think I have had 10 different hosting accounts with 8 different companies over the past 10 years and all have had similar issues. I have a bunch of stuff running on this server so I'll see if I can't get to the bottom of it. The only problem with moving to vbulletin is we will lose the Virtual Marina. That may be a small price to pay for a better functioning forum. I can then incorporate a better photo gallery so maybe it will behave sort of like the virtual marina.

I can still hear it now "just copy the files over then we will redirect your DNS" :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt021

Jim,

Please know that your efforts are appreciated.

If the problems persist into the winter months, us northerners could experience withdrawal symptons with not being able to get our "Sea Ray" fix.

At least for now we still have our boats in the water!

Keep up the good work!

Even the "admin" is having "double post" problems.

Lay off the liquor, its only noon for christs sake, you're just seeing double

Jim

The problem we are having here seems to be a server issue. I would put this one in the laps of your hosting site and have them come up with a fix. Either that or sic Gary on them. :smt043
