Hold the Jokes unless there really funny then go for it. o_O:rolleyes:
Honestly my Coastal inflatable is really sticky to the touch Anyone experience this? Korean made pvc. Only few years old. Tried soap, inflatable boat cleaner. Don’t want to use acetone but may have to try something stronger. All suggestions welcome.
Thanks for your help, Rob

Yeah that’s common with PVC as the sun and heat affects the material. Removing it only allows for of the stuff to show up. I put two large patches where we sit to slow it down. Another reason to use hypalon ones. Having a cover on it when not using it also helps. I also protect with 303 aerospace every few weeks.

You could also try a uv treatment. We don’t get anywhere near the sun intensity you guys get but on my previous PVC dinghy I treated it with 303 (I think it was the aerospace, but confirm it with them as to what’s best ) and it seemed to reduce the wear at least temporarily

I have some sunbrella that has vinyl backing if covering and 303 don’t do the trick that is next step. I have navy which may look good as boat has navy on it. Thanks
