Steer without power steering

My power steering pump is rattling. I won't have a chance right away to have it replaced, if it goes out while I am out in the boat, will I be able to steer it to get back to the dock?
2012 205 Sport, Mercruiser 5.0.

Yes, it's not too bad with a single drive. Very difficult with a twin drive. Slow and steady...

Yes, you can steer, but... if it throws the belt and you can't get it back on because something is wonky with the pulley, you won't have your circ pump and can overheat. You'll get some water coming in from the raw water pump and you can have someone spin the circ pump by hand or try and rig something from the crank to circ pump. Keep an eye on your temps and stay at idle speed.
