Starter solenoid for 3116

Sorry, I did not.... I have the same issue from time to time, I have replaced the neutral safety switch, the starter switch @ helm and now I just depress it a few times or add pressing the emergency start switch and it fires every time... I was thinking possible bad ground connection somewhere ?

Yeah, probably a bad ground somewhere. I guess I'll hold off on buying the $80 solenoid from CAT for now. I'd hate to be guessing on the issue at $100 a pop.

John, One year I was in the Bahamas and had the same issue. Luckily at Staniel Cay which had internet. Posted on CSR and several members and I think Frank told me to start looking and tightening everything first. The white junction box is where i hit gold. Tightened all the screws in there and hello it started and i never had that issue again. Good luck. JC
