I have a 2001 380 Sundancer with 120v ac electrical system. On friday i was plugged into shore power with the normal things on the breaker panel turned on (a/c, water heater, fridge etc). I went to cook something on the stove so I turned the stove breaker on and turned on a burner. After I turned the burner on I lost power to the entire starboard side of the panel (I have 2 breakers for AC power (port side has salon ac, ac relay pump, fridge, ac converter, galley systems etc and starboard has fwd ac unit, water heater, stove etc).

At first I thought it was just a breaker (checked all breakers on the panel and on the dock at the shore power connection). I thought maybe my shore power cord was bad so I plugged in a spare cord. That didnt fix it. I tried firing up the generator and still cant get power for the starboard breakers. I opened the panel up and put a meter on the starboard side main breakers and there's no power to them. I'm at a loss here. Is there a main in line fuse here that I don't know about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!
Eric

There is usually another breaker in the area (transom locker maybe) where you plug your shore power in. Take a look.

Thanks Gary. There was absolutely another breaker I was unaware of that tripped. Simple fix thankfully.

Hi - I have the same issue, I have a 2006 460 Sundancer, where did you find the breaker?
Thanks - Clinton

You should have a set in your transom locker. Above each shore power cord plug. Though this is a wicked old post and I'm not sure why that breaker would impact the generator's ability to produce 110 on both sides. Always worth a shot though...
