Stainless windlass switch covers BLING!!

I ordered them from Hamilton. They said they were backordered. Went ahead and ordered them. Hopefully they come quickly.
Ordered yesterday online. It said nothing about back ordered. I checked bank statement, they did debit the account. We shall see. Anxiously awaiting.

i did go on yesterday und under status it said back ordered. gonna wait and see when they stocked back up. keep me posted

Unreal. They must be a member of this site. Just double checked and now the price is $73.29 each up from $55 each. And they still say backordered under quantity available.

Fastest bling improvement for the buck! I just installed mine this morning. Before and After. My plastic ones were way worse than I thought. Gave me a chance to orient the arrow on the down switch too. Both used to point aft which was quite confusing at times.

You can just install the covers if your current switches are good and save switches for the future. Maxwell said the switches last for decades in most situations.

Mike, actually took your advice and just installed the covers for now. Didn’t feel like messing with bedding the entire switch and caulking looks good no evidence of leaking. More stuff in the spares box!
Cheers

Looks great. Now for a shiny new polished SS anchor roller and anchor to match your switch covers.

Mine arrive today! Before I get too deep in to the project, some advice please. I ordered the whole switch and cover. To install just the cover, is it as simple as removing the six screws and replacing the cover? Seems way to easy.....
