Anyone familiar with places to visit in st lucia? We are heading there for the week and would like to check things out.

We honeymooned there 7 years ago. Where are you staying? We stayed at Ti Kaye, a very nice resort away from everything.
We spent a LOT of time at the beach snorkeling, plus we did the volcano tour and didn't think it was worth it.
We rented a car one day and had a blast, they drive on the left there, that was hard to get use to, but the people were friendly when I met them head on in an intersection while turning.
Their currency is set at 2 ec to 1 dollar if I remember correctly.
There are some really good and cheap local restraunts there and I highly recommend checking them out. I can't remember the names but check out tripadvisor forums for St Lucia and you can find them.
We want to go back (and will) because we loved it so much, it's a tropical paradise.
If you have any specific questions just ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

Cool. We are staying at coconut bay. Getting excited, we are leaving on the morning. Thanks for the heads up about volcano tours.

Hey St. Lucia is a great island, you're really going to enjoy it. It's pretty large for a Caribbean Isle and very lush with lots of forests. Sounds like you're going to an all inclusive so that should be fun and they will have ideas for things to do. You really didn't say what you were looking for or wanted to do, so it's kind of hard to offer any specific thoughts. There's a lot you can do, if you want.....or you can just relax.

Enjoy!
