What page shows the captain in an altered state while underway? I missed that one................just my .02

One that comes to mind is about a year ago, perhaps someone else can help figure out the exact issue and pages.

It profiled a retired couple on a 280DA Sundancer with a white hull. The captain was part of the Auxiliary and made some mention that the other members preferred to use his boat for CG Aux patrols. I think he was a retired military man.

They were with another couple; I think he was a teacher, not sure.

They stopped on an island, sat at a pick nick table with the boat anchored behind them as they consumed a bottle of red wine.

Later they were back on the boat drinking more. The caption was standing, holding the wine glass with its bottom high in the air getting every last bit of wine into his mouth.

He had a very non-sober look in my opinion. Even his pants did not look like they were on quite right.

Technically they were not underway but one has to assume they had to get back to the harbor somehow.

I don’t have that issue anymore but I estimate it was a year ago.

Does anyone else here keep old copies that can look to get the exact issue and pages for xravenx?

They don't actually move!

Has anyone else noticed that the large majority of SeaRay adds always show the boats setting dead in the water? I'm guessing that less than 20% of the SeaRay photography work shows the boats moving. I'm guessing for one that it's considerably more expense to have photos of the boats made underway.

Watch for this in the future and compare it to other manufacturers adds. Similarily, I've never seen an add for a Formular or Fountain that the boat wasn't moving.

spring 2006 issue...pages 46 -48 is the what xravenx is referencing... I must say that I enjoy a few beers on the boat but know my limit and do not operate recklessly.

When I got mine there was an attachment telling me, in affect, that I should "re-register". I did that on Sea Rays web site............now lets see if I get two copies. :smt017
