SPX210 Beeping! Why?

We just bought a 2018 SPX210 with a Mercury 250 Alpha.

Overall, we have had a great experience with this boat, as we have a young daughter who genuinely loves tubing and just playing with her pals on the boat.

With the boat being brand new, upon start up, the boat beeps 6 times. LOUDLY. I'm being told by the Sea Ray dealership that the beeps are simply because the oil pressure needs to build up, however the beeps are still very annoying and make everyone at the marina stare at you like you have a problem.

I've checked the drive lube level, oil level, etc. Everything is perfect. But I've still got this beep.

Any insight would greatly be appreciated!

I just started having the same headache. Can you please advise what you did to solve this problem?

There's no "one" way to solve this. It depends on what sensor is complaining.

What have you checked/verified? Drive lube monitor, oil psi, engine temp, etc? The 6 beeps is a cautionary statement from the computer. Not necessarily critical, but something to be aware of and investigate. You can have the computer read by a Merc tech.

Check your engine owner's manual, too. I think there is info in there regarding this.

Haven’t checked anything yet as I don’t use my ski boat much but it did it a few different times today with my wife on the water. Got a mechanic at our marina looking into it this week. Thanks for the feedback.
