Wow. looks like a cold launch. Good luck!

I do have a question for you. I too am a 2007 Sea Ray 38 owner. I have been taking a lot of heat from my first mate about getting a dinghy. I've been looking for the right davits. I'm curious, how do you have your dinghy mounted on your boat? :smt024

I love the blue of your boat! We had a blue 320 and if and when there is a next boat, I will go with color again.

As to your question, I don't travel with a dinghy. As you said, there is no good way to mount it on the swim platform and still get access through the middle door. I'm not very mechanical, so I choose not to wrestle with taking an outboard on and off and trying to find a place for the dinghy.

We have a 15' Logic with a 40 horse Johnson we use to get around the marina and up and down the river to restaurants, no dinghy at all. At our age, the solid boat is best for us.

By the way, coincidentally, I just forwarded your web address to my son who is a computer guy in Atlanta (Iowa State BS Computer Science) who is interested in starting a business like yours. He's been working contract jobs, and likes what you do!
