Looking to install spreader lights to the radar arch and wondering if anyone has done this project. I guess my concern is secure the mounting bolt to the arch from inside. As of now, there are 3 holes I can access: the 2 cockpit lights and the center hole cover for access to the radar equipment. Thanks.

I’d probably want to get them on flat spots on top of the arch as far apart as the access holes allowed me to work with.
I might even want to make small 1/4” starboard bases for them to sit on and use stainless fender washers on the underside inside the arch to spread the strain if you should get something hung up on them sometime in the future. The bolts securing them would be liberally coated with Lifeseal or similar product that would work with the starboard to prevent leaks in to the arch and use the same product to make a sort of gasket between the starboard and the arch for good measure.

You can see what I mounted on the SS handrails just above the cockpit. Perfect for backing in at night.

Was it a task running the wires through the arch
Not at all i dropped the arch lights and opened up the inspection plates and used a small snake. It went right through.
just line up the spredder light with the arch light hole so you can pull the wire from the new lite into the arch fairly easy.Ill take a top view picture today and post it later so you get a better idea

So, Im guessing the bolt is being screwed into the fiberglass by drilling a smaller hole than the bolt since threading from the inside seems impossible?

Yes that's correct...

Just replaced my old halogen lights on the arch with LEDs. Easy job since the wiring was already there.
