OK. I have tried everything I can to clear this problem. I have cleaned out the pitot on the sterndrive. It had some pieces of wook in it, used the drill bit, some water came out. It is clear.
I also raised the trim and unplugeed the tube (i.e. with the yellow fastner). I blew some air into the tube and saw the spedomter needle move, so it is clear from that point. I blew air down the sterndrive towards the pitot as well. Is there anthing esle I can do?
If not, any adive on installing an external pitot? For example best place to drill thru transom, which I really don't want to do.
Or is there an easy speedomter GPS that I can install into the dash and replace the analog speedometer?
