Jim,

Sorry I hadn't renew my Sponsorship sooner but I didn't notice is had expired. Would be greatly appreciated if an automatic notice was sent out asking if the sponsor would like to renew rather than wait to notice it had expired.

I read/review this site just about every night unless I'm out on the boat and greatly appreciate your hosting the site I'm sure as much as anyone. Sorry to see sometimes a few jackasses get on line and have more interest in running there mouth then providing interesting and helpful advice. Even if someone is not exactly right sometime someone else comes along and provide better detail & advice.

I look forward to the site every time I go on line and like most have determined only to open & read subjects that interest me. Seldom do I comment unless I'm sure of what I;m saying and while sometime the sarcasm can be a little over the top, we all keep coming back because we get something out of the information provided. I don't know many of the people on the site but i have found advice given by some whom I want name to be of great help & interest. Most people can see through the Bull**** and take it for what it's worth.

I throughly enjoy seeing pictures and reading about other peoples travels & problems which help us try and plan to avoid those that we can. Frank is one of the individuals whom speaks up provide information from the point of someone whom cares about boating & safety. Sorry to see some others not appreciate the information provide and I read most of the bantering as well cause during the cooler months sometimes there's just nothing better to do than be on on line with other boaters.

Merry Christmas to all and to all have a great and safe boating life.:smt038

Did not realize mine had expired as well. Jim...is there some type of notification that can be implemented?

+1 probably the reason I started seeing ads again.
Glad this was posted!

I think you'll find if you look at your setings ou'll see yo uhave chosen to not receive administrative emails from the site. I could be wrong. As far as I know a notice is normally sent out. Anybody out there receive a notice?

Thank you everybody for the subscriptions.

Thanks for responding Jim....Just checked and I have the little box checked to "allow messages from admin".
Ohhh well, I'll renew anyway..no biggie

I found a db error for the task manager which sends out the reminders. Using sponsor money I am going to update our forum to the latest VB software which should have a lot of new features(if it ever gets released), so I am not going to have this current error repaired at this time. I'm always using the resources you all provide to KEEP this the best boating forum on the net. The people with sponsor logos by their names should be proud that you are footing the bill for this site. I hope I'm doing my part to spend wisely. Thanks for pointing it out!

I also thought it was strange that I didn't remember seeing a reminder. That fix would be money well spent Jim. Also Merry Christmas to you too John. (Gimme Time)
