In the "Membership Stats" section near the bottom of each page, could we have a breakdown of each level of sponsorship? ie,

    Platinum 12
    Gold 22
    Silver 68

I realize sponsorship is voluntary, but if these visual statistics are located adjacent to the current member's total, it might help to increase sponsorship. It can't hurt.

Sponsorship is completely voluntary. I have never pushed and will never push it. The people that care about the site know about it and thats good enough for me. There is a button at the top of the site to contribute and a little "what's this" link under the sponsorship emblems.

I fully understand your position Jim. I made this suggestion because you already have statistics posted about the membership on each page. I merely thought that the sponsorship breakdown would be equally interesting to all of us. I was responding to that spot in "The Bilge" where you were welcoming suggestions for the site. I realize that you will not or can not act on all suggestions for your own reasons and I can respect that.

    regards, Ken

I'm with Ken. I would find that an interesting statistic as well. Could it be posted in the Club level? That way no one feels pressured to join who already hasn't. Just a thought. Brian

To be honest, I didn't think about it until poked. Maybe a total in the stats area? Just saying and I do respect your stand on not pressuring anyone.
