so when is everybody going in?

I'm going to call my hauler in the morning and try to book May 1st. I want to be in first at my dock :grin:. I have a ton to do but hopefully it's all done.
 
I'm already in... Actually never came out. We stayed in all winter. They'll be pulling us to clean, wash, wax and detail. Also new bottom paint and zinc will be installed too. Engines and the alike are all still winterized, maybe until this coming weekend...
 
I'm already in too ........(left it in and saved the $1100 to have marina haul it, block it, wrap it, winterize it, & re-launch it!)
 
Most likley April 15 still to cold to work on boat 1 mile from ocean and water temp 43 when sea brease comes in at 1 pm out of SE.
 
I bet you guys back east are getting anxious to splash your toys.

We stay in all year and use the boat through the winter. We always do the Christmas Boat Parade (2nd weekend of Dec) and a New Year's Day cruise, and thus far this year we've been out 5 additional times.

I am so anxious. We only had the boat for a month last year and we spent so much in the off season that it might take me the next 6 weeks to do the work.

6months in and 6 months out is no way to live. I need to move south.
 
2nd or 3rd weekend in April... depending on the snow melt.
 
Supposed to be April 15th, but with the ice amounts this year I'll bet its closer to May 1st.
 
Having the 320's impellers changed and a TracVision installed as we speak. Detailed next week hoping to get water under her by the first weekend in April if the Mighty Ohio river cooperates.

Would like to be out by end of April, but need some time to get ready. Been so cold that I haven't been able to get in the boat to do anything. SUCKS

I wish i could go out in April. My marina has a May1 to Nov1 policy and that is it unless you want to pay HUGE for early splash.

I too would like to be in by Mid April but it has been so cold and snow and wind and this winter as been more of a winter than usual.
The 400EC can't go in until I get some resoulution for the MD Attorney General about the bottom paint. Zyrex.
So I will work on the 270 Sundancer and get her in while I wait on the MDAG. But once the 270 is in then I will start the washing, waxing and all that other good stuff.
So the answer - Soon???
 
Up until last week the Marina was Iced In!! So being "optimistic" I'm scheduled for the last weekend in April!!

who knows the ice on the Bay is close to 30" thick.
 
I just booked on Saturday. I'll be in by end of April at the latest. I'm having the bottom sanded and repainted this year. The issue now is when will they get to it?

Our local Sea Ray dealer has new owners and has taken over the service and building at our marina. That's great news! The downside is that they have everything torn up right now. New water lines and power lines that are headed to the docks, the building is being renovated and the place is pretty messed up right now. As a matter of fact, the trench for the new water lines is right behind AMFM and I doubt they can yank it out as no vehicles can get in there.

So let's keep fingers crossed!

My regular marina isn't even the water until May 1st, I am renting a covered slip for a month just to stretch my season. My insurance policy covers April 1st thru October 31st so given that I've got the closed cooled 6.2's with inboards for the first time I figured why not
