My pictures for Navy Pier came out bad but it is completely surrounded by ice.

This winter reminds me of the winter of 1977. We had five foot drifts of snow in our yard and 24" of ice on Spring Lake. Being new to Michigan, we thought the snow would be around until June. In March we experienced three days of above normal temps and lots of warm wind and some rain. Our snow as gone in a week and the ice was out a short time later. We were boating in late April or early May. It's amazing how quickly things can change in west Michigan.
