I need to add a switch in my cabin to isolate some poorly designed lights in the 320.

Does anyone know where I can buy switches that are similar to the rocker switches in a searay AND that have a decorative plate to mount on the wall for a finished look? I can find the switches all day, but I can't seem to find switches with a switch-plate.

This seems so simple, but I've searched and searched. Thanks,

Scott

Not sure if your switches and plates are the same as mine (grey switches with brushed nickle plate) but if they are Sea Ray sources them from Vimar and they would be Idea series. I just purchased two outlets and a cover plate froma Vimar distributor in Florida. their link is http://www.drsa.com/products.html. Good luck.

Scott -

Bet I know which lights your referring to: The two above the CB panel in front of the slanted aft bulkhead by the stairs.

At least those are the two on the 340 that you cannot turn out without turning the cabin master off. If the optional TV was installed, Sea Ray put a switch in to turn those lights off. I'm betting it's the same on the 320...

I had to order the plate from the dealer.

Yup, I have a 2006 320 and there is no switch to turn off the lights you mention. It's on my 2010 project list to install a switch, so thanks for the links.

Hey Jeff, let me hijack my own thread. I notice your radar is on a stand, where most of the factory installed ones I've seen are sitting flush on the arch. Was this factory installed or did you do it yourself? Do you know the make/model and angle of the stand?

I'm thinking of doing a stand, for optimal range and less interference (and I like the way it looks). I know it is probably overkill, but having spent almost $4K on my electronics, a few hundred for a stand seems minor.
