that's right, that's me. It was my cousin's "Kite Tube"
It was banned in the states shortly after he bought it. Theses are taken 2 Memorial Day Weekends ago. Sportstuff offered a trade in credit towards any other product he wanted.

Yeah until you "YouTube" search for "Kite Tube" and watch the idiots go WOT with their buddies on the thing. Launching them into the air at 60'
We only got off the water 10-12' which was plenty for us, but still seemed pretty uncontrolable.

If I'm not mistaken, those "kite tubes" have been taken off the market by the manufacturer recently, following several severe-injury accidents. It's amazing what lawsuits can do in lieu of government regulation!
